About this program
Fund a child centre is an organization registered in Uganda and passionate about international development and improving the life-chances of the orphans, the less privileged children in Bwindi area South-West Uganda. On this 6-week project, you will live at our incredible volunteer guest house, teach at Think Africa academy Nursery and primary school in the week and explore Uganda at the weekend on our Big Five Safari and White-Water Rafting.
Our partners in Europe and Uganda will make sure you are safe supported using their local understanding, experience of working with over 50 volunteers since 2017 and expertise in delivering good teaching.
We are based in the same community in Uganda all-year-round so you will feel like you are part of a sustainable movement effecting change and improvement in the local education. By the end of your six-week project, you will feel like you are saying good bye to family.
